KP Astrology: Krishnamurti Paddhati

Krishnamurti Paddhati, known everywhere as KP astrology, is a modern refinement of Vedic astrology developed by Prof. K. S. Krishnamurti. It was created to solve a real problem: traditional methods often gave broad answers, while life asks precise questions. KP answers them.

The sub-lord is the key

KP divides each nakshatra into unequal parts ruled by the nine planets in Vimshottari proportion. The planet ruling the exact point of a house cusp is its sub-lord, and the sub-lord decides whether that house will deliver its results. This single idea is what gives KP its accuracy.

Significators and ruling planets

KP reads the significators of each house to judge what a planet will actually do, and uses ruling planets at the time of a question for horary work. Together with the cuspal sub-lord, these tools let an astrologer give clear yes or no answers and sharp timing.
